Marionette lines are wrinkles which extend from each corner of your mouth to your chin. As we age, these can cause the mouth to have a downturned appearance causing the mouth to look sad. The skin around the mouth is particularly prone to wrinkling and sagging because it’s thinner compared with other areas of the face.  Botulinum Toxin can be used to relax these muscles, which engages lip elevators to work harder, creating a subtle lift and reducing the downturned appearance.
